Hello Cottage Neighbours!
This is a friendly reminder that your 2024 Catchacoma Cottagers’ Association membership fees are due.
Your membership fees help support our many activities on the lake including our Buoy Program. CCA provides and maintains the hazard and navigation buoys throughout Catchacoma Lake and the Narrows. This year, we will be adding 10 additional buoys to the lake. The cost of buoys and insurance is very high so members’ financial support is critical for this program to continue.
Membership fees also go towards:
- Community events such as DockFest,
- Hosting and maintenance of the CCA website,
- Newsletters and emails to communicate important information regarding our beautiful lake, and
- Memberships in related organizations such as Federation of Ontario Cottagers’ Associations (FOCA), Cavendish Community Ratepayers Association Inc (CCRAI) andCoalition for Equitable Water Flow (CEWF)
We also have a volunteer lake steward who regularly takes water samples to be tested by the Ministry of the Environment (MOE). Water levels are monitored and the general health of our lake is observed and documented with regards to invasive species of both plants and aquatic animals.
You get all of these benefits for only $30 per year!
NEW! Membership is even easier now with some recent changes:
- Purchase multi-year memberships – up to three years at a time,
- Get a receipt after payment is received indicating which years you have paid for (so you won’t lose track), and
- Get a customized notice when your fees become due.

To make bookkeeping easier for our volunteers and to keep all of our member information in one place, we encourage everyone to pay for their membership at this website.
Payment options include e-transfer (EFT/Interac), PayPal, credit/debit card or cheque.
You can also make a donation at the site if you’d like to “top up” your membership fees. We appreciate this very much!
