The Catchacoma Forest Stewardship Committee (CFSC) invites you to watch “Conserving Catchacoma” — a short documentary film highlighting CFSC’s efforts to protect the old growth hemlock forest on crown land north of Catchacoma Lake.

The documentary is premiering online in Peterborough’s prestigious ReFrame Film Festival. Created by filmmaker Mitch Browmile, it features interviews with several CFSC members, including Dr. Peter Quinby, old growth researcher extraordinaire!

Conserving Catchacoma will be available to watch through the ReFrame site between Thu, Jan 27 and Fri, Feb 4, 2022. Registration is required to get access to the film along with four other short docs in the “The Earth Sustains Us” program. Once registered, you can watch anytime between Jan 27 and Feb 4. You will need an email address and a credit card to pay-what-you-can ($10 recommended).
